Frequently Asked Questions

  1. About us:
Revolver USA is a music distributor. We sell independent label digital  downloads, CDs, vinyl, DVDs, magazines, books, DVDs and related items  to stores all over the world and to other distributors, as well as  direct to consumers via our Midheaven Mailorder division.   Below are some frequently asked questions from our mailorder customers.
  2. Order Confirmation via Email
When you order on our website you'll receive an immediate confirmation  of receipt of your order via email. The email will include a tentative  order amount, including estimated invoice total. This confirmation  does NOT mean your order has already been picked or invoiced or  charged to your credit card. It simply means we've received your order.
  3. More Stuff You Should Read Before You Shop
Prices listed are in U.S. dollars and do not include shipping/  handling. Prices are subject to change.   We accept VISA and MasterCard and (NEW!) PayPal, as well as checks,  money orders, IMOs (International Money Orders drawn in US dollars  only), and C.O.D. If you'd rather send credit card info via fax,  mail, or email, that's okay, too (contact numbers below).   We're not able to issue cash refunds; if you prepay your order and  send it via snailmail and we are out of stock on any of your choices,  we will issue a credit slip to be used on subsequent orders. If you  need assistance or have any questions about online ordering, contact help@midheaven.com  .   Again (and this bears repeating): Midheaven does not charge you for  items not shipped (see "Order Confirmation via Email," above).
  4. Our Returns Policy
We will replace any factory-defective item purchased from Midheaven  with a fresh copy of that title. Please email dave-AT-midheavenDOTcom  and provide the artist, title and format of the defective item, what's  wrong with it, and when you bought it from us. Once Dave has ok'd the  return, send it back to the contact address below; we'll confirm that  the item sent back is defective and then send you a replacement copy.  Or you can make an appointment to drop by our office to trade in the  defective item (see "In the Neighborhood?," below). If you mail the  title back to us, please be sure to pack it well; we can't be  responsible for replacing items trashed by our wonderful U.S. postal  service. We are unable to grant cash refunds; if we are out of stock  on the defective item's replacement copy, you have several choices: we  can send you a credit slip good for your next order, you may specify  an alternate item, or you can choose to wait for new stock to arrive  on the original defective item.   If you gave someone a Midheaven-purchased item as a gift and it turns  out it's something they already have, we will accept the unopened/  unplayed item for credit on a future order. The same policy as above  applies-- email Dave regarding your desire to return the item, when  you purchased it from us, etc.   Unfortunately, we are not able to accept returns on an item because  you don't like it once you hear it.

In The Dark Of The Night

    Dfa

The one-two kick drum beat that starts "In the Dark of the Night" functions as a bit of a tease. Instead of merely establishing the languid pace of the track, it has the power of suggestion, and its stark nakedness raises the question of what will happen after the music fully launches. A few seconds later, a punch-drunk, flanging keyboard is the first clue that the listener is in for an off-kilter ride; the sauntering bassline that next appears adds a springy, funk bounce.

  • Vex’d

    Cloud Seed

    Planet Mu

Vex'd are a legendary duo. Their 2005 album Degenerate was one of the first and most successful dubstep long-players, and remains to this day one of the most respected. By incorporating techstep, jungle, breaks and apocalyptic noir influences into the classic "bass and drums and 140 BPM" format, Degenerate was integral in establishing the template for today's dubstep sound, pushing it beyond its roots in two-step and UK garage.

    Slumberland

Their 2009 Slumberland album Songs for Tuesdays dazzled with seemingly effortless song craft and sharp melodicism.

  • Galaxie 500

    Today (+ Uncollected)

    20|20|20

When Galaxie 500's Today was released in 1988, it set off a chain reaction of quiet explosions still being felt. Never before had a record so emphasized the calming elements of rock music, transforming what at first seems like a collection of bridges into fully realized songs. And one can draw a straight line from here to the many groups they influenced, like Low, Belle & Sebastian, and Bon Iver.

  • Galaxie 500

This Is Our Music (+ Copenhagen)

    20|20|20

After producing two albums celebrated by a thirsty underground network of fans, Galaxie 500 released what turned out to be their unexpected swansong, This Is Our Music. The title is an intentionally declarative statement. After being labeled masters of the disengaged and forlorn, Damon Krukowsi, Dean Wareham, and Naomi Yang delivered a full-length comprised of their most stately material.

    Rush To Relax

    Goner

LP VERSION INCLUDES FREE DOWNLOAD COUPON!!! When Eddy Current Suppression Ring formed in Melbourne, Australia, in 2003, bandmates Eddy Current, Rob Solid, Danny Current, and Brendan Suppression thought they would play a few shows and perhaps record a 7-inch or two. • Galaxie 500

    On Fire (+ Peel Sessions)

    20|20|20

On Fire is widely recognized as the canonic pinnacle of Galaxie 500's career. The artwork conveys this, with a low-angle shot of the band, looking up towards an amber sky. This record marked the realization of their signature sound. Nowhere is it clearer than on the album opener, "Blue Thunder," the closest a song can come to waves crashing on a beach in song form.
